Presented by OSCH President Debbie Bensching LCSW, This workshop will review information related to the clinical applications, prerequisites, and contraindications of using exploratory, insight oriented, and uncovering techniques to address a range of clinical conditions. Debbie will bring a trauma informed lens to applications of 4 or more hypnotic exploratory and uncovering techniques that will be presented for use in clinical practice.  These techniques can be used with a range of clients with or without a trauma background.  Factors in decision making for technique choice will serve as the basis for discussing treatment options and clinical applications. Participants will have opportunity to observe demonstration of techniques, practice 2 of the techniques appropriate to their clinical setting and discuss applications from a clinical case presentation.

  • Observe demonstration of 2 or more of the hypnotic techniques presented and discuss how they can be helpful in furthering desired clinical outcomes.
