Hypnosis: Clinical hypnosis is evidence based, client centered, cost effective, appropriate for all ages, diverse healthcare disciplines, and incorporates the science of neurobiology and brain plasticity. Hypnosis allows for more effective utilization of the client’s or patients innate resources and enhances a range of communication skills that facilitate reaching therapeutic goals. Suggestion is an inevitable part of any treatment. In learning hypnosis one is better able to understand current uses of language in treatment and how to increase and diversify the range of skills in suggesting therapeutic possibilities.
