&lt;p data-start="0" data-end="216"&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 16px;"&gt;This workshop equips clinicians with advanced hypnotic skills and practical techniques to develop effective treatment plans that actively engage children and adults in addressing medical and psychological challenges.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p data-start="218" data-end="802" data-is-last-node="" data-is-only-node=""&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 16px;"&gt;Participants will explore a diverse range of strategies, including the treatment of functional psychophysiologic disorders, uncovering root causes through ideomotor signaling, and preparing patients for surgery and medical procedures. The program also covers integrating hypnosis into pediatric care for physical, emotional, and behavioral concerns, as well as supporting patients with sleep deprivation and nicotine addiction. Time for guided practice is included, along with exploration of the preventive and therapeutic value of laughter and the effective use of humor in hypnosis.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Dr. Linda Thomson is a pediatric nurse practitioner.&amp;nbsp; She is a Past-President and Fellow of the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis.&amp;nbsp; Linda is an Approved Consultant in Clinical Hypnosis, and a Diplomate of both the American Board of Medical Hypnosis and the American Board of Hypnosis in Nursing.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Linda has published books, chapters, and peer-reviewed journal articles, lectured and taught workshops across the country and around the world, and has been an integral part of ASCH's education, and has received ASCH’s Lifetime Achievement Award and ASCH’s Clinical Hypnosis Education and Training Lifetime Achievement Award.&lt;/p&gt;

The training runs from 9:00 am to 5:00pm &lt;span style="background-color: transparent;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Pacific Time&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span style="background-color: transparent;"&gt;&lt;span&gt;on both days&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;. Lunch is on your own for 75 minutes.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
